ICT&S at the University of Salzburg deals with the interrelations between information and communication technologies and society.

The activities of ICT&S seek to enhance the positive potential of information and communication technologies for individuals, organizations, and society and to reduce negative phenomenons.

Current foci of the ICT&S Center:

• HCI & Usability research, especially regarding interfaces
• Social- and communication-scientific research regarding the strategies of the information society, especially questions concerning social inclusion and participation
